*** THERE HAVE BEEN RECENT CHANGES TO THE PURCHASE ORDER SYSTEM. At a certain point you will be directed to Dell's website to pull up the quote. For now you can only search by email address. Use this one: thornbus@msnotes.wustl.edu
*** You must choose a monitor option for the desktop and the mini tower computers. Both the price and the quote number are associated with your monitor selection and will change based on which monitor you chose.
*** The Mini-Tower is the larger tower size. The Desktop is smaller and can sit vertically (upright on the floor) or horizontally (on the desk). The Desktop units are less upgradeable than the Mini-Towers, but are sufficient for most users.
*** Dell AX210 speakers will be included if you do not order a monitor. If an LCD monitor is ordered, the system will ship with the AX510 soundbar which attaches to the bottom of the monitor. Laptops do not ship with external speakers since they have their own internal speakers.
***These quotes are valid until the date listed above. Dell must have received the purchase order on or before this date.
***All units, including the notebook include DVD burners.
***The Notebook quote does not include a floppy drive, a dial-up modem, or a port replicator/docking station. It does include a DVD RW for burning DVDs and a carrying case. If you have special requirements for your notebook, please contact the Service Desk to have one configured to meet your needs. We also include Dell's CompleteCare on laptop quotes. This covers accidental damage during the 3-year warranty period.
***As of 11/20/08 we no longer include floppy disk drives in *any* computer. Contact us for your custom needs. |
