Projection Services

MSCITS Audiovisual Support Services offer Projection Services at a nominal fee to the School of Medicine and Medical Center. Technicians and equipment are available on request for your seminars, lectures, or meetings. Please be sure to reserve the room for your meeting before completing the Projection Services Request Form.

      • Projection services for slide, video/DVD, and data projectors, document presenter, overheads and laser pointers.  A laptop (Mac or PC) can be provided for Medical Center use only
      • Audio Recording - Video Recording for Curiculum Lectures Only
      • Video/DVD and audiocassette duplication
      • Equipment delivery/pickup, setup and retrieval
      • Audiovisual equipment can be borrowed with or without the services of a technician. There is no charge for equipment when a technician is not needed. Equipment cannot be taken off the Medical Center campus.
    Fees (effective July 1, 2006)
      • Equipment Only - No Charge - You pick up and return equipment
      • Standard - $35 per hour - This includes projectionist's time and delivering and picking up equipment.
      • Overtime - $50 per hour - This is for events before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday - Subject to Tech Availability.
      • Weekend - $65 per hour. - With a minimum of two hours - Subject to Tech Availability.

      • Data projectors or wireless data presenter for computers (for lectures on campus ONLY)
      • Portable PCs, Tablet PCs or Macintoshs with CD and Zip drives (for lectures on campus ONLY)
        The Power Point Presentation can be e-mailed to Projection Services to be loaded onto a laptop to be brought to your presentation for you.  Please e-mail your presentation to:  mscits-av@msnotes.wustl.edu.

      • VCRs, DVD player and monitors
      • Video, overhead and 35mm slide projectors
      • Laser pointers
      • Projection screens (S, M, L)
      • Portable podiums, microphones and speakers
      • Document Presenter
      • Easels & flip charts and markers
    Scheduling a technician and reserving equipment: Back to the Top
      • Requests for service and/or equipment must be made 48 hours in advance.
      • Availability of technicians and equipment cannot be guaranteed with less than 48 hours notice.
      • Requests for technician support outside normal working hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday) must be made 72 hours in advance. Availability of staff may affect ability to fulfill the request.
      • Service and/or equipment must be scheduled through the MSCITS-AV Services department. Call 362-2793 or e-mail mscits-av@msnotes.wustl.edu.
      • Scheduling is on a first come, first served basis, although every effort will made to fill all requests.
      • Failure to cancel a request at least 1 hour before scheduled service will result in a minimum ½ hour set up charge.

    Reserving Auditoriums Back to the Top

    Audiovisual Support Services does not reserve auditoriums or meeting rooms. This must be done through the office responsible for the room. Please make room reservations BEFORE completing a Projection Services and Equipment Reservation Request Form.
