Virus and Malicious Software

The Medical School Central IT Services is committed to ensuring the integrity of our infrastructure by running anti-virus software on all of our servers. Additionally all Central IT Service Desk supported computers run anti-virus software locally on the computer. On the Lotus Notes and Beckermail mail servers, each piece of mail is scanned before it is delivered to the recipient. While we diligently keep our anti-virus scan engines up-to-date there may be instances where a virus is so new it is not caught by the server.

If you believe you have been infected please contact your Help desk/Service Desk immediately
