Video Conferencing

Whether your meeting is with people across campus, across the country, or anywhere in the world the MSCITS-AV can now save you a trip through a new service that provides real time, interactive video conferencing.

With the recent purchase of two mobile video conferencing units from Polycom (an industry leader in video conferencing solutions) the Library can now setup a video conference for you from any location on campus with an internet connection. Conferences can be point-to-point or multi-point broadcasts so long as all sites are using another Polycom unit or any device that supports the standard H.323 protocol for video conferencing.

In addition to transmitting a high quality audio and video stream, the Polycom units can also accept input from a computer for showing high-resolution images, movies, or PowerPoint presentations in your meetings along with your video.

This service is now available through the MSCITS-AV Division. For more information or to schedule an event, please contact MSCITS-AV at 362-2793 or via email at mscits-av@msnotes.wustl.edu.
